UPP, a telecommunications company recently acquired by Virgin Media O2, collaborated with us to develop and implement comprehensive offline marketing strategies. Focused on targeting new customers in key infrastructure-connected areas, UPP aimed to inform the public about their super-fast broadband rollout and drive sign-ups.

Challenge: Two primary challenges emerged: the need for a reliable method to measure the impact of door drops and diverse marketing efforts, and the execution of two distinct campaigns—Register Interest and Ready for Service—with unique objectives.

To address the first challenge, we introduced a meticulous solution combining QR codes on leaflets and a series of three test-phase campaigns. By leveraging our geo-targeting tool, we mapped out districts, postcodes, and streets to ensure precision in our approach. This innovative strategy enabled us to not only monitor impact but also to analyze the data for future campaign optimization.
The campaigns were strategically designed, with the Register Interest initiative aimed at generating anticipation and sign-ups for upcoming broadband connections. Simultaneously, the Ready for Service campaign allowed customers to directly purchase the new super-fast broadband.
